Complete Medical Faculty for the University of Wayamba. This is a State of Art Medical Faculty where the faculty scattered in a two-acre land creating a village atmosphere.

This project won a Design Award from Sri Lanka Institute of Architects in 2022.

This project consist of two entities which includes faculty of Medicine with a 1000 seat auditorium at Saman Pedesa Rathnapura ( 23177.00 SQ. m) and 7 story Professorial Unit at the Rathnapura teaching hospital premises. ( 25942.00 sq.m ).

This project is funded by Saudi Development Fund who has selected DAR engineering of Saudi Arabia as there consultant who intern selected Qserve and DH Wijewardene Associates as local partners. While the schematic design was done jointly but the detail designing, tendering and project management done by the local partner.

The faculty consist of Pre- Clinical building, Library, Canteen, Auditorium (1000 seats), male, female student’s hostels, Deans quarters,staff quarters entrance building with road network.

The new bus stand consists of a 2 storied concrete building 160 m long and steel bridge connecting the bus stand to the Railway Station. The infrastructure work included landscaping with interlocking tiles & planting and also sewage and waste water disposal & treatment system.

We were the Consortium Consultants under the design Build system to carry out consultancy workfor Extension of Library at University of PeradeniyaPreparing of Schematic Designs, Architectural, Structural, Electrical and Building services drawings, and make necessary modifications.Preparation ofBOQ’s. Supervision of Construction work, and all other work connected with Project Management.

The building is designed parallel to the contours which will also help to get the view to all the important areas by locating the building mainly facing North & South, the heat effort of the sun will be minimized. Further, the building will come mainly in the cleared areas and therefore, there will not much damage to the vegetation below.

The building consist with two Large lecture hall, 8 small lecture halls, 40 lectures rooms, 8 labs, museums, large computer rooms and experimental kitchen.

A multipurpose building to house staff canteen, lecturers accommodating rooms & a small auditorium. This is located at the center of university premises in a very restricted area. It is a design build project

and we are the design consultants to the main contractor.

Preparation of Schematic Designs, as well as Architectural, Structural, Electrical, and Building services drawings, were conducted by the Consultant with the necessary modifications made. Drafting of Tender documents and BOQs. Certifying Interim payments & final payments. Oversight of Construction activities and all related tasks tied to Project Management.
